I look so goofy in these pics. But so cool at the same time. HAHAHA.

Look at the hot chick next to me. OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!

ISLAM. Who is ready for this.

Islam (Arabic: الإسلام; al-'islām (help·info); pronounced: [ɪs.ˈlæːm]) is a monotheistic Abrahamic religion originating with the teachings of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, a seventh century Arab religious and political figure. The word Islam means "submission", or the total surrender of oneself to God (Arabic: الله, Allāh).[1] An adherent of Islam is known as a Muslim, meaning "one who submits [to God]".[2][3] There are between 1 billion to 1.8 billion Muslims, making Islam the second-largest religion in the world, after Christianity.[4]
Muslims believe that God revealed the Qur'an to Muhammad, God's final prophet, and regard the Qur'an and the Sunnah (words and deeds of Muhammad) as the fundamental sources of Islam.[5] They do not regard Muhammad as the founder of a new religion, but as the restorer of the original monotheistic faith of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and other prophets. Islamic tradition holds that Jews and Christians distorted the revelations God gave to these prophets by either altering the text, introducing a false interpretation, or both.[6]
Islam includes many religious practices. Adherents are generally required to observe the Five Pillars of Islam, which are five duties that unite Muslims into a community.[7] In addition to the Five Pillars, Islamic law (sharia) has developed a tradition of rulings that touch on virtually all aspects of life and society. This tradition encompasses everything from practical matters like dietary laws and banking to warfare and welfare.[8]

It could take years to explain Islam. All we know is that in the WEST is really bad, in Europe is whatever and in the Middle East is all there is.

This is the 3rd mother of Islam. The citadel or Muhamed Ali Mosque. The 1st is Mecca in Saudi Arabia, and then in Jerusalem. Thats why there are so many problems. In Jerusalem we have the 3 most important religions; Catholic, Jewish, Islam. I can't wait until the mormons move Salt Lake to Jerusalem then the world will end.

Muhamed Ali tomb. Who is he? After Romans imposed catholic religion in Egypt, Ali defeated the romans again and imposed Islam as the law.

Here is where they wash their sins....

They all sit next to each other here.

There are about 1000 mosques' in Cairo. This is the 3rd biggest.

Muhamed Ali. Not to be confused with the prophet Mohamed.

Any questions? Ask me. My tour guide gave me a lot of info. They wanted me to convert.

Ancient Egyptians

Cairo: "He who Hath not seen Cairo, Hath not seen the world." Julius Caesar.

Cairo (Arabic: القاهرة transliteration: Al-Qāhirah), which means "the Vanquisher" or "the Triumphant", is the capital and largest city of Egypt. It is the Arab World [3] and Africa's most populous city.[4] While Al-Qahirah is the official name of the city, in Egyptian Arabic it is called by the dialect's name for the country, transliteration: Masr. Within Egypt, residents of Cairo are called Masraweya rather than Masri. Egyptian government estimates that Cairo is home to about 28 million people. Can you believe this??

So let's beging the trip to Cairo. The flight was a short 45 minute flight to the huge airport about 30 minutes outside the city. All you can see from up there was sand, I am serious is in the middle of the desert. Had a very expensive trip to the hotel that lasted more than 1 hour because of the traffic. For the following pics is important to imagine 4000 thousand years ago; no cars, no electricity, no big building (except below), no internet. So let our minds wonder....

Here we have a replica of a palace next to the Nile. Palaces were next to the river because it allowed the Kings to move quicker anywhere plus they were able to control the products being transferred through there.

4000 years ago... Agriculture.

Here is them making glass.

They were the only civilization that momified their kings. They believed in a second life that was going to be more prosperous than the first. The God of momification, Anubis, used to take out the liver, the intestines, the stomach and the lungs. He would place these in 4 different jars that would be placed next to the coufin in the Tomb. The heart? No one know what they did with it. The brain? Guess what they did. They cut it in pieces and buried it because it contained all the secrets of that King; and only him had the answer to everything. WOW.

So at first look the Pyramids. Big "buildings" of rock in the middle of the desert. Why? Well 4000 years ago there was no desert. The nile river ran through there and everything was green. SO why the Pyramids? These big structures were created to bury the King and his posessions so that no one ever would be able to get to it and in his 2nd life he would be more properous than the first.

Here is KOFU (Sphinx). The body of a Lion, the face of Kofu. Represented power.

Ramses II. This statute is 100 meter long. There were only 2 made. They used to stand outside his palace in Upper Egypt protecting him.

SAQQARA. First pyramid ever built. Look at the design. Anything?

Now this one....

A view from the side...

And Menkoura. The smallest pyramid. The king died before finishing it and the servents had to finish it so he could be buried.

Any questions?

LUXOR...the city of the GODS

Luxor (Arabic: الأقصر ) As the site of the ancient Egyptian city of Thebes, Luxor has frequently been characterised as the "world's greatest open air museum", the ruins of the temple complexes at Karnak and Luxor standing within the modern city. Immediately opposite, across the Nile River, lie the monuments, temples and tombs on the West Bank Necropolis, which include the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luxor

So here is a little background info of the following: I get to the beautiful Luxor. I get dropped off at the hotel, check-in, and then go out to see the sites. As soon as I walk out of the hotel I had about 200 towel heads all over me asking for money and bugging me. So I got very mad and decided to pay for a tour guide the next guy. I told the guy: I pay you $30 for the whole day but make sure no ones comes near my sister. Mind you $30 is a lot here. HAHAHAHA. So no towel heads coming up to my sis for 2 days.
So our tour guide for an extra $10 dollar tip he took us into Tombs that have been discovered 5 years ago and there's still work being done. He is an egyptologist, which has 2 PHD's in egyptology and works for the government for a great salary of $75 dollars per month. He gets payed that much to study the great and amazing egyptian culture. Foreign people come to Egypt to find new things and he is in charge of studying what they found. So for $40 for the day you don't think he cared about taking us to these Tombs, of course not. Thank God for 3rd world countries with bad governments. So the story begins....

One of the new Tombs. For Queen Tumbosis. Married to King Ramses II.

King Ramses II loved to fight. He told his army. For every hand you bring me from our enemies, I will give you a coin of Gold. HAHAHA.

A new Tomb they found 3 years ago. He let us take pics. They are still studying who was there. I had to tip the 6 military man $2.50 to let me take pics and scort us underground. They were super happy and one guy wanted to kiss my hand... Trying to keep this PG-13.

Here you can see my belly.... I mean that is the UNKH: ( Key of Life). For good luck i put my forehead against the wall. We'll see if it brings me Ms. Right and not just Ms. Right now.

These fools are here to protect the Valley of Kings. Apparently they didn't do a good job because a lot of things were stolen from there. HAHAHA.

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!! I saw King TUT. This fool was a Stud in Acient egypt. Became king at 9, married at 12 and died at 19.

Actually Ramses II was the Stud. So he married NEFERTITI and loved her very much. She dies. So he decided to marry about 45 women and had over 200 kids. He wanted to find NEFERTITI again. He ruled Egypt for 67 years.

I'm here with Sadam Husein's nephew. The guy charged me $.50 cents for the pic.

The stud Ramses II

OK yes I love Ramses II. He had a lot of fun time.... I wanna be like him.

The Luxor temple entrance. Where the King walked through to pray to AMUN God (God of Upper Egypt).

Wanna see me in a camel??? HAHAHA

Local live like this.....

For the Egyptian people, their president is their idol, unlike for Americans. You make fun of him in the news, he will come after you. He is well respected; SNL needs to chill on the jokes to the leader of the Free World. HAHAHAHA

People at a "CAFE" smoking SHESHA and drinking Juice and Tea.

The late night in ALEX....

4am and full of people smoking and eating by the monuments of these 7000 year old nation...

Yes, this is a High Rise. Unlike City Center you are allowed to dry your clothes outside to save soap, electricity, and gas. To all the casinos in Las Vegas: "With our heat we can take advantage of the natural power of the sun." From now on you will see my underwear hanging from the roof of my house when I get back. There is a lot to learn in this great nation people.....

I'm off to LUXOR now....
